Tips for seeing Christmas lights in Salt Lake

  • Book the ticketed ones early. Luminaria weekends and the week before Christmas sell out first.

  • Go on a weeknight. Monday through Thursday is noticeably calmer everywhere on this list.

  • Dress for the cold. Most displays are outdoors and run in snow.

  • Make it a night. Pair Tracy Aviary with dinner in 9th and 9th, or Ogden's Christmas Village with dinner on 25th Street.
